Regent Christian Academy – Part-Time Bus Driver

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a part-time bus driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting students on a variety of outings, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, have excellent driving skills, and value the importance of passenger safety.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate the assigned school bus on a predetermined route and preset locations

  • Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding, travel, and disembarking
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
  • Communicate effectively with Teacher/Supervisors and respond to inquiries
  • Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus interior

Qualifications:

  • Valid BC Commercial Driver’s License – Class 2 with Air Endorsement
  • Clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Prior experience as a bus driver is preferred

Remuneration & Benefits: 

  • $23 – $25 per hour
