Extra Curricular

At Regent, we consider weekly Chapel services important for all grade levels and have a separate Chapel for our Primary students.

We come together to worship the Lord through music, learn Bible truths, celebrate missions efforts, and also to recognize and encourage students as they strive to display Christian character traits.

Each week a pastor or one of the teachers presents a special message that is relevant to this age group.

Student participation is an important part of our Chapel time so worship is lively and the lessons are meaningful.

A well-rounded education is important at all ages, and athletics are a key component of that education.

Students have classes in the gymnasium three times a week with one of our PE specialists.

As part of our PE curriculum, every year the Grades 1 through 4 classes have swimming lessons at a local pool so that their water skills and safety are developed.

The Grade 4 students join the Middle School students participating in a standards track meet each May.

Caring for others at school, in our community, and around the world is a focus of the Primary School at RCA.

Throughout the year we have many programs that give our students opportunities to share the love of Jesus.

Each month, one of the classes visits a local care facility to spend time with the seniors who live there. We sing songs, perform skits, share stories and just spend time chatting with the residents.

Our students also participate in all the school-wide mission efforts at RCA.

At Christmas, we fill stockings with hygiene & treat items for Surrey's homeless and bring food items for hamper baskets.

In the winter, we collect warm clothing for those less fortunate.  In the spring, we collect money to support High School mission efforts - building a house in Mexico and a school in Kenya.
