We are committed to providing opportunities that encourage spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical growth.
Classes have daily devotions with their homeroom teachers and prayer is evident in all aspects of student functions and activities.
Chapel
On the first Monday of each month, the entire student body assembles for a combined chapel.
We have our own middle school worship team, and those students who desire to be active in worship team leadership, may commit themselves to weekly practice under the tutelage of our music teacher.Occasionally, we have guest speakers, but most often our teachers and the middle school students bring the chapel message.
Spiritual Emphasis Days
Each fall, the middle school teachers identify a theme and speaker(s) for our Spiritual Emphasis Days. This is a time of focused teaching and worship; it is always a time of spiritual renewal for our students.
Outdoor Pursuits
"For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made." Romans 1:20
Each year, the older students in middle school participate in an extended, overnight field experience.
These experiences vary from year to year depending upon the teachers, the students, and curricular needs.
These outdoor education trips have included adventures such as hiking, camping, caving, snowshoeing, skiing, kayaking, and sailing.
Our extended field trips allow students to see each other in an entirely different setting, and give students a chance to discover the splendour of God's creation-away from the distractions of the modern world.
